Just thought it would be nice to have a shoutbox on the website and be able to talk to everyone without being in-game
Turn on, Tune in, Drop out.

I personally think ShoutBox's look messy on top of the Forums.

I'm all for a separate chat box though or even Vent  8)

Maybe I'll put up a poll on what kind of chat we should have; shout box, vent, IRC, dedicated page for chatroom, etc.

Do you guys have any other ideas?  :) Or links to shout box mods for SMF 2.0.2 or any other software?

I think there should be a sort of shoutbox because I think people would talk in it more. Not a whole lot of people are going to go to a separate page JUST for a chat room, so there'd be more activity this way I think.

Not to sure what you mean by software, but you could always get a free shout box at http://www.freeshoutbox.net/ or possibly get http://xat.com/ :)

I think IRC is the way to go. We've used it before and I like how it's set up.

Regardless of what stage Worldscape was at not many people are on the Forums enough to notice.

If people won't use IRC then what will make people use one of that XAT ones? They're all used for the same purpose.

Though IRC is reliable, I personally do not like it. That being said, I'm all for a chat box.  :D
