Burn Rate?

Is the burn rate supposed to be this high?

Most of the time I get more burnt fish then cooked and I thought that you should have more cooked then burnt. Yes I am level 43 but seriously. I am just wondering that's all

The higher your cooking level the higher the success rate. At level 43 you're bound to burn that much, not all the time, but a lot of times. As you level up you'll see a large increase in how much you successfully cook.

Maybe it's drastic suggestion but..train to 74 on tunas. I did it that way and saved all my lobs.

I agree with muse.

Yo will also have around 3-3,5k swordfishes to cook when you finish with tunas (at least that worked for me..)
When you get 86 cooking, at this level you stop burning Swordfish.
Of course if you'll be patient enough to catch that many fish.

on one of my alts i recently leveled up cooking, at level 40 I had an exactly 50% burn rate, which is about right - by 43 i was burning about 12-13 lobs and cooking the rest...i feel the formula may be a bit TOO exact, but i don't think it's so off it's worth focusing on.
