I think a copy of the 2006 forums would be nice. I do, really. I could maybe work on it, I know HTML and basic Javascript + PHP

We aren't exactly going to be doing the 2006 forums but we are making it a little more modern. So it is like the 06 forums but with a different theme to it.

That isn't official at all. Thats just basic scripting. Easy to accomplish. Look in the updates board for the actual website.

The problem having a 2006 Version of the forums and such is the fact that it uses Jagex's images which is more of a hint towards a DMCA Take down notice because they will think it's a phishing scam and other crap. The best bet is to make it look SIMILAR but not 100% identical. Meaning, don't use the same pictures, make your own and base them off the originals.

I know it's like WHO CARES THEY WOULD SHUT US DOWN FOR THE PRIVATE SERVER BEFORE ANYTHING, but you would be surprised what jagex would do. I mean crap I got my webhost shut down after 3 days of having the new website that was a replica of RuneScape's for 2010 I believe it was. 3 Days. All gone. So I can only imagine what they would try with Rune Rebels.

Doesn't look like RS, but still RuneRebels is coming up with ways so they can't shut it down.
