Hello dear RuneRebels, the server is very good. but in my opinion I have a big problem, the xp rate is too fast, anyone else has a problem with this?

Too fast? You must not have trained long enough. The exp rate is 2x and I think it is perfect where it's at.

Think about it, I earned all my levels the first time when I started in 2004. It took me four years to realize how much time I've wasted on RuneScape, but I still wasn't very good. I don't want to play this game for four years. It is a great game, but in reality, I'm going to go off to college, and start a family, and have no time for games. It will pretty much be the end of not just my RuneRebels career, but my gaming career as well. When I'm willing to play this game for a year at minimum, I want the greatest outcome, which is, to be the player I was never able to be in RuneScape. The 2x exp rate is good because I think I already earned the levels I got in RuneScape and I think starting from the beginning deserves a little boost.

Even if it were that, it's possible to get a 99 in less than a month.

I can't play unless it is 1x, when I started playing -you really felt accomplishing something when you spent precious time on it. But at 3x or 2x, it doesn't feel that much rewarding as 1x did :/

Can we please have 1x??

really now it dont even take 6 months for agility or rc...
I do agree i think if its an rs remake should be same exp rates maybe 1.5x but i can understand some people dont have time but 1 week for a 99 is way to fast i believe

The exp rate was originally going to be 3x, we bumped it down to 2x because it was too fast. We will not be bringing it any lower any time soon, because this is a RSPS, we will never have a player base of over 5000 at max, and people will come and go pretty often, most people who want to play this game had more time in 2006 than they do now, including us. The 2x rate makes the game much more casual for players with less time and more things to do. People can still get to 99 easily, but it is not as time consuming for people who don't no life.

As such, unless we believe such a time is necessary, the exp rate will stay at 2x

Agreed with JT why move it down to 1.5 if it was that low i'll just go play the real deal.

It is not a big difference at all anyways... at level 50 here you'd actually be level 45 in real runescape.. It has about 5 levels above the runescape xp rate so to me it is really minor.
