An Idea for any event

I have this on my server already and it's proven a great success because everyone gets an item and it's rare as well so here's the idea...

Basically long story short, the player goes to see Diango (for the event) and basically Diango gives out one rare per IP/per account. Also the items are untradable so if they do get one it's theirs for life and then they can say oh look I got that at this event. I did this for my Xmas event where they can either have any colour party hat or a Santa hat and that's it. It was a massive success and I think it should be implemented into this game. Or maybe speak to a specific NPC for the item (Easter Bunny for the easter event and Father Christmas for the Xmas event.)

Don't forget though that the player can only pick ONE of the items for the event and if they want another one they have to wait till next year for the next rare... (That's if the same system gets implemented again)

But you're suggesting a whole different thing to me, the actual event would of been alright, but like you said, people autoclicked and basically camped the spawns, meaning the community turned to shit in 1 day, that's not a problem with the event itself, but with the players.

Are you referring to me? I was only online for around 5 hours on the first night of the event, and I spent that time talking to you?

That's the first I've heard of me getting in trouble haha.

Unless you're referring to when I misclicked one of the pheasants on the Freaky Forrester random while we were talking about the eggs in Varrock, and Onur jokingly called me a cheater :P
