I have seen those shows.  I am however, not stupid.  How difficult could it be to invest even half of that, and let's say earn an extremely low rate of say 4%.  That brings in 600k alone per year.

But, you can't fix stupid...

Or he could take that money and do wonders with it, but I would be reasonably happy if my kid had that kind of financial security, pretty much any well raised human being could tell you that even with that kind of money, sitting around doing nothing with your life is going to get boring. More than likely if you or I had that kind of money would still pursue a career we have manor interest in.
