Mining is a skill that allows players to extract ores, gems, rune essence and other resources from rocks in mines throughout RR
Mined ores can be smelted at a furnace, turning them into bars that can be made into metal objects using the Smithing skill, the Construction skill or the Crafting skill.

Requirements

Before you can go off mining u will need a pickaxe,pickaxes can be bought at the dwarfen mine its next to the ice mountain,barbarian village and falador there should be a dwarf called Nurmof you buy the pickaxes from him

Price of pickaxes in the shop:
Bronze Pickaxe ~2 coins.
Iron Pickaxe ~140 coins.
Steel Pickaxe ~500 coins.
Mithril Pickaxe ~1,300 coins.
Adamant Pickaxe ~2,200 coins.
Rune Pickaxe ~22,000 coins.

Locations

I will show you some common locations i used mining

East of Varrock

Mostly there i got from 1-40 Mining
You can mine there 6 Tin Ores, 6 Copper Oresand 4 Iron Ore (level 15 needed)

West of Varrock

You can mine there 3 Iron Ore (level 15 needed), 8 Tin Ore , 3 clay and 3 Silver Ores (level 20 needed)

Barbarian Village

Good spot for coal mining
You can mine there 5 Tin Ore, 4 Coal (level 30 needed)

Al-Kharid

You can mine there 1 Tin Ore, 3 Copper Ores, 9 Iron Ores , 6 Silver Ores , 2 Gold Ore , 3 Mithril Ore (level 55 needed), 2 Adamant Ore (level 70 needed)

Falador

Requires 60 lvl mining to enter
You can mine there 37 Coal (level 30 needed), 5 Mithril Ores (level 55 needed)

Ores

Rune essence, you need lvl 1 mining to mine these and they give 10xp
Clay, you need lvl 1 mining to mine these and they give 10xp
Copper, you need lvl 1 mining to mine these and they give 35xp
Tin, you need lvl 1 mining to mine these and they give 35xp
Blurite, you need lvl 10 mining to mine these and they give 35xp
Limestone, you need lvl 10 mining to mine these and they give 53xp
Iron, you need lvl 15 mining to mine these and they give 70xp
Silver, you need lvl 20 mining to mine these and they give 80xp
Coal, you need lvl 30 mining to mine these and they give 100xp
Pure essence, you need lvl 30 mining to mine these and they give 10xp
Sandstone, you need lvl 35 mining to mine these and they give up to 120xp
Gold, you need lvl 40 mining to mine these and they give 130xp
Gems stone, you need lvl 40 mining to mine these and they give 130xp
Granite, you need lvl 45 mining to mine these and they give up 150xp
Mithril, you need lvl 55 mining to mine these and they give 160xp
Adamantite, you need lvl 70 mining to mine these and they give 190xp
Runite, you need lvl 85 mining to mine these and they give 250xp
