We should make it attractive for other people to join us and not other remakes, canifis would be a great update, and atleast some dragon weapons :/

no, there is a lot more things besides that... after we get our current update target of 2.1 out we'll determine a new direction in the minor 2.1.x updates and a major direction for 2.2- There are several ways we can go in this aspect, as 2.1.x might include npcs that are unreachable, but apart of slayer, and drops fixed for those npcs, as we plan for new areas to be released. These 2.1.x updates will be slow because of the amount of time it'll take to spawn the npcs properly, spawn the non-attackable npcs, gather any dialogue required, gather mechanic information about said location (like for the desert, the whole not dying from heat thing, or canafis, random things attacking you while running through the swamp, making sure the slayer master works, slayer tower drops are set properly, etc.)

Once we release 2.1 we'll be taking a small break minus any major bugs that need to be patched (read: 2.1.1). Then we'll all sit down and decide our priorities and lay out the next few minor updates, and what those updates will be leading up to :)

Yeah just saw that one. I wonder what the 2.08 update will have? :)

With the 2.0.x updates and the future 2.1.x updates expect mainly bug fixes. With 2.1, expect content. It's already got some nice stuff completed :o

2.0.8 should be released by tomorrow, 2.1 should be released by the end of the week.

This is inaccurate time frames- don't listen to James, he was really drunk. Hopefully the next 2-3 days should see the release of 2.0.8, and within about 2-3 weeks 2.1 should be set :)

RuneRebels 2.0.8 has arrived! With loads of bug fixes and new content, there’s plenty for everyone to enjoy. ;)



~NPCs~
- Added Bandit spawns in bandit camp. -
- Added Desert Lizard spawns in the desert area. -
- Added Tree spawn in Draynor manor. -
- Added ability for non movement aggressive NPCs. -
- Added support for aggression towards any combat level. -
- Decreased the drop rate for Mystic Pieces. -
- Fixed Robe Store Owner's location to inside the Magic Guild. -
- Added Magic Store Owner inside the Magic Guild. -
- Added Magic Shop to the Magic Guild. -
- Added Wizard Frumscone spawn inside the Magic Guild. -
- Added Zombie spawn in the Magic Guild basement. -

~Slayer Plugin~
- Added reassigning slayer tasks to Turael. -
- Slayer masters no longer constantly reassign tasks. -
- Slayer Monsters now require the proper level to kill. -
- Slayer Monsters now require proper items to kill. -
- You will now receive a task complete message when you finish a slayer task. -
- Slayer Monsters can now be disabled if they are unreachable. -

- Curtain in bandit camp is now openable. -

- Poison speed is now correct @ one hit every 10 seconds. -
- Refactored the game server and all plugins. (server now uses about 50MB of RAM before world map render) -

It's the client vs the way we do item storage- the client only shows so much but technically you can have an infinite amount of items stored :)

I fixed all the shop things- they don't have the right prices though, but they should at least work again.
Also as a note- this isn't everything we wanted but because of the server going down, we updated the server with all current fixes. More fun things in store for 2.0.8 that we didn't get to in 2.0.7 (hint: in addition to white, BLUE)

Glad to hear this is being fixed and is nearing release. I have wanted to tackle this 99 for ages.

Not nearing released or being fixed quite yet. Is just bumped up on the chain. Plenty of other more important things to fix first.
