I slowly stopped enjoying it over the past few years

frozenx2p

Started playing less and less after late 2006 and quit in 2008 HOWEVER I did start playing 1 month before sof -> SoF release = quit again and haven't even visited the website anymore.
Once you have killed someone, you will be labeled as a murderer, however when you kill Millions of people, then you will be called a conqueror and once you have reached the utmost limit... When you have killed everyone except yourself - then congratulations you have become a god!

Adios★

I for one liked it in the 06'-07' era. Now it is, dissapointing tbh.

Clay

I faded away when the wilderness was removed the first time.

Jrub

stopped playing in late 2012

Oxycontin

Game has changed too much since back in 2005/2006 when i was a young kid sneaking on the computer to kill more hill giants.... I quit runescape.

Dug

It has, I guess they feel like adapting to the future children and not the good classic children that we are apparently and ultimately unfavourable.
Hi I'm Dug. (wave).

D E A T H

Stopped playing because I was and always will be poor.  :o

Kendall

Here's my quitting story:

I was training on cockroaches when they first came out. An exp guide said I will go from 92 to 93 combat when I train my defence up by 1 more level. I raised my defence that one level and I did not go up in combat. So I just stopped playing.

Maybe you put the wrong stats :o

Or if you got it straight for hiscores idk

scrilla

I quit in 2009, i just hated the fact also that all my friends quit and no free trading or proper pking so everything was G.E based. It sucked horse dick if im honest with you guys. i went and had a little peek hearing about this EOC crap and holy fuck i wouldn't even call it shit scape anymore its that bad. Fagex are gay and don't listen to their players.

Cheshire Cat

I quit when the grand exchange came out and absolutely shot a hole though the life of player communications though trading. I later came back and tried the EoC but it just felt like I was playing a poorly coded version of WoW.

How many of you guys/girls played runescape but quit because it changed almost 90% and didn't like it.. I did

I quit soon as Microtransactions were released by Jagex and then joined a few months later, but still didn't really enjoy the game. I haven't played since.

All your threads are belong to us.

Jrub

I'm thinking of going back to it, after relooking at eoc it doesn't look that bad

Plus it would be nice to try something new :P
