Username Problem

When I signed up, I accidentally made my name too long to be typed into the client, so I log in and am forced out to create a new account because I am 1 letter too long.

Should I just make a new e-mail with a new account, or can something else be done?

I faced this exact same problem, and I think the only solution would be to make a shorter username. Sorry :\
