Hatchet speeds

Are hatchet speeds all the same, or do they differentiate? Ive been using steel and it seems to be as fast as bronze.

I'm pretty sure they'd change, you could juist be having bad luck :l it could be that the level diffrence between bronze and steel isn't very high, thus not a significant change. But I'd assume they change or we wouldn't have people giving 15k for a addy hatchet

I can report that with 50 wcing, I bought an addy axe to replace steel while cutting willows, and the difference is very noticeable.

It doesn't change a thing, i cut same with addy and bronze axes lol

It really doesn't effect any speeds right now when you have different axes. Its all just the same. I am sure once the developers fix higher priority problems, this will be added.

Not sure but i think the hatchet speeds are the same for diffierent hatchets and there are 3 groups.

Bronze, Iron, Steel          (group 1)
Black, Mithril, Adamant    (group 2)
Rune, Dragon                  (group 3)

I think the hatchet speeds don't differ very much though.

They don't differ at all yet. I got 89 woodcutting with a bronze axe on my noob account in like 4 days.

Hatchet speeds do differ currently, they're just not at the exact speed as in RuneScape as of now.
