So I thought, I have quite a few logs to fletch, and quite a few bowstrings to use... I wonder if lamps are also giving double xp - and they are!!  Great, I'll skill for a while and rake in the lamps!!  16 randoms later...

Depends on how much xp you are earning I believe.  I'm just sitting in a bank cutting logs and stringing them (magic longbows, so they are 386xp per cut and 386xp per stringing).  The xp adds up quite quick and I usually get a random every 10 minutes or so.

Makes sense. I've been mostly mining pure ess which = not a lot of XP. Thanks for the info
