You should be unable to safespot something with melee unless of course you are using a dragon haleberd and they are stuck behind something, however it was unable to hit me this close which makes it a bug. This allows someone to kill a blue dragon with melee without being hit.

It seems to only be the far west dragon with this issue. Perhaps because it spawns in the stalagmite?
