I'm pretty sure all we have is Evil Chicken and the Genie. We may have Ents, i'm not sure though.

Yess. We need quests. Are they going to be released as you complete them or all at once? (I think this may have been answered somewhere else). Are they going to be released by player priority? (Rune Mysteries Quest first? We don't really NEED Cook's Assistant..)

Thank you for the response everyone. I am sorry if I sound harsh in my posts. I'm a really blunt speaker. No hating on RuneRebels or any of the community or admins. I just voice myself.  :)

Thanks

i like the sound of a bigger development team. that just makes me happy :)

Yes! If there's something this game needs, that's it.

Suggestions, Compliments, And Questions / Requirements but can't reach?

So, we have, not only quest requirements for items, but QP requirements to enter buildings. I talked to an admin yesterday about this, and he said that quests will be added soon. It is my opinion, that soon isn't soon enough when you're talking longer than one day when players are being restricted access to a place that is kind of required with some things. Whether you're just going to the champions guild for a cape or for rune armor. I think we should be given back access to these places unless the quests are going to be out this week. But it can't just be Dragon Slayer obviously, because that requires 32 quest points. And it can't be Black Knights Fortress, because if I'm remembering correctly that takes 12 quest points. Anyways, I'm training combat, and I don't feel like fletching for 5 more hours to afford some rune armor and weapon by buying it from someone on the street. Especially when I know when the quests are released all of what I just bought will drop 200K in cost. So why not re-release the areas? When are the quests coming out? Will they all be released at once or gradually?

Yes, I realize someone just posted about quests, but they are different questions.

That's amazing that you made such a positive impact on the game. My only concern is that once "Cut X" was released it slowed down the process so much it was sick to old players. You can string bows extremely quickly when you are in control of the speed, when "String X" or whatever was released it slowed it down. If there could be two ways, or at least just a sped up version of "String X" it would be great. I am all for supporting the disease. But sometimes I do like to click a few thousand bow strings and a few thousands unstrung bows and getting 30 fletching levels in a few hours.

@DesertRain Thanks for posting, are you referring to IVP (I believe it's called IVP). The people who own a little more than 50% of Jagex right now? And yes, I'm glad we don't have any of those annoying advertisements, but I do believe that we need to vote more on RuneLocus and Mopar. Word of mouth would be great, don't get me wrong, however, I don't know if I would see much growth like that. Not that we need thousands upon thousands of players. But what we do need is a little amount of donators. Not saying this should be for-profit, but we need to keep VPS going and everything.

@Karl Thanks to you for posting as well. Your post was also very informational, and I thank you for that. I thought the RS website might have something to do with their demise. I'm glad we fall into all of these categories of surviving if Jagex does decide to look at us.

Suggestions, Compliments, And Questions / Re: Partyhats
« on: February 03, 2013, 11:26:02 am »
If this has been said I apologize, but, Why not just release them once? Next December would be our first Rune Rebel Christmas, drop the Partyhats then, and next year continue until all of the events that contain all items up to 2006 are obtained. (RR Xmas 2014 has whatever was dropped in 2003), etc. And same with the other holiday events until we reach 2006. From then on it's up to RuneRebels to either not have any holiday events, or create their own.

Just a quick question, no hate, just want to know. How are we different from what was going to be 2006Scape or Soulsplit. As I'm sure all of you know 2006Scape was shut down after they reached almost 500,000 registered members. There are currently two rumors spreading on how and why 2006Scape was shut down. One rumor I've heard is that the owner was just in it for the money, and scammed most players into donating and is now running with the cash. Another rumor is that Jagex did shut them down, most likely due to the fact that they had more people registered to play than the number of people that log into RuneScape each day. If I'm correct, I believe 2006Scape was around since June or July, but I'm not 100% sure. Soulsplit, however, has been running since 2009 (as displayed on their website), and is still going strong.

To be honest, I didn't plan on joining 2006Scape. Their community had a lot of flamers, spammers, etc. And after I'd posted 2 honest posts on the forums I had ended up making about 50 enemies before the game had began. Also, I did play Soulsplit for one day, and then after signing a petition to have Jagex bring back 2006 servers, I read a post that was advertising for RuneRebels. This was 3 days ago.

This game is great, and it takes me back to when I was a kid. Also, it's got an amazing community, and is so well done I am amazed every time I log in and do something new. I like this game a lot, and want to not only sign in tomorrow, but next week, and a month from now (etc).

So, how are we any different from 2006Scape, in the sense that how aren't we going to be shut down? What is our defense? Does Jagex even bother? (I ask because Soulsplit has been around since 2009). Is there a loophole to secure our game that Soulsplit knows and no one else does?

Thanks for reading this extremely large post.

also when you double click a thieving stall, you get 2 of that item.

Yes^ I was just about to post this. Anyone know if it works for pickpocketing? I know in any RS remake and RS itself you can double pickpocket if you try again in the animation.

Shop formula will effect the economy so much now... The rich will stay rich and those who just started will have much more trouble making money. But I am glad this has finally been fixed :D

Lol, that was my first thought too. Looks like me 2K gold stack won't be getting much larger until I start doing some real skilling/combat.

Introductions / Hey everyone!
« on: February 01, 2013, 02:49:19 pm »

Hey everyone, my name is Bobby. I've been a RuneScape player since I was 10 years old, and it used to mean everything to me. Now 17, it's been a battle with Jagex and all the updates they've forced upon us, it's great to find a stable game with a good community where I can look forward to a new start. This game is great so far.

Anyone want an add in game, just post and we can talk/chill/skill it's all good.

Personally, I play drums and I'm looking for a band. Been playing drums for about 10 years and I'm a huge Senses Fail fan, and I get to see them in May after my 18th bday. Soo yeah. Anyone like music, drumming, rs (runerebels), give me a post or an add. Haha.

Bobby
