Hey guys,
I know I promised that I would continue on with updates, but unfortunately, due to not being able to do nearly anything that I would like with the server, and giving the lack of progress of basically anything in the past few months, I am stepping down as an owner of AllGoFree/RuneRebels/Worldscape. I will still be on the forums every now and again, but do not expect to see me anytime in-game soon.
If anyone wants to contact me, you can reach me on my skype @bassistjames, I'm usually offline/invisible, but if I'm there I'll make sure to converse with any of you.
To the players, thanks guys. The majority of you have been awesome and very supportive. I wish there was more that I could give you, but I've exercised all the amount of pull and tug I have to try and get progress going, and it didn't work.
To my fellow staff members and fellow owners, best of luck, and hopefully things pick back up, I'd be interested to see where the project goes with the love and attention it deserves.

I'm not going anywhere, I just don't feel that with any progress there should be a development team. I've got side projects of my own that I'm going to continue.

Well unfortunately I figured this was coming but it was just a matter of when. You will be missed James, its sucks that you weren't able to do much but you did what you could do. I'll never forget you haunting me with the grim reaper while I was in falador back in the free to play days. Best of luck in your future endeavors.

James, you were one hell of a Developer, a Moderator, an Admin, and most of all an Owner. I wish you good luck in your future projects, and I can't thank you enough for all the work you've done with this server. I am still glad to call you a great friend!

I meant that it won't work because Onur doesn't choose a team, Kevin & Ryan do. Even with the formed team that you want, they still won't have enough accessibility to code anything for us. They might be able to add npcs, edit some drops and such, but they cannot code quests, change item definitions, make bosses function, make objects do different things, change npc definitions, or anything worthwhile updating

Yeah, unfortunately Onur's about as useless as a bag of rocks when it comes to adding anything but minimal content, much of which will be broken (which is what I experienced.) (Not a diss @ Onur, or anyone, just stating a fact.)

Obviously as you've been here since the creation of RuneRebels, would you be so kind as to write a list of ideas that you have that could possibly help the server?

In recoil's defense its hard to be optimistic at times when nothing is being done for a prolonged period of time. I have certainly been frustrated from time to time, with that being said though with the re-emergence of Ryan and Onur coming home tomorrow I really think the ball will get rolling on.

Well, since I don't have the pleasure of having a sit down with him, all I can go off of is what is written here. And for the past few weeks, his remarks have been cancerous. To the outsider who knows nothing about him, he appears to be a petulant troll. Bluntness and honesty are subjective, but all I know is that his opinion was that the server was dead and why fucking bother... I would be very concerned respecting someone with a defeatist attitude against the server he allegedly gives a shit about. But whatever, I'm just here to enjoy what is available and give kudos to whomever attempts to make that possible.
And considering this was your resignation thread, I will refrain any further opinions on this as this should be where people thank you for all the effort that you yourself put into the game. Feel free to remove any of my posts you deem necessary.

Why don't you guys take a break from arguing and go play some RuneRebels? With Ryan's return, this server is going to be the next big remake, as 2006Revived went offline a few days ago. I suggest start making some money and getting your levels up, as I'm sure new content will be added soon along with new players joining the game!

Why don't you guys take a break from arguing and go play some RuneRebels? With Ryan's return, this server is going to be the next big remake, as 2006Revived went offline a few days ago. I suggest start making some money and getting your levels up, as I'm sure new content will be added soon along with new players joining the game!
If you guys can, bump the major topics. Like Rune-Server and Moparscape. That will help a lot. Posting on them once a day or so is great. I will bump them when I get home. But I will need help.

There's no need to argue with your arguments, the majority of the time I agree with you, however there's no need to blatantly disclose the worst case scenario of every situation rather than hoping for a better outcome to arise..

Yea after being a part of that argument myself I kinda realized that a lot of what Recoil said what just what I didn't want to hear. I like your approach though Onur we as a community need to acknowledge our differences and put them aside for the sake and long term success of RR, because that is a common goal that all of us here share.
