I was kind of thinking of playing again, but I saw players online at 0. What's the deal?

This has been confirmed as a dead project with nothing more to be done with it.  Some people log in here and there, but it's rare.

lately there is tons of activity. myself, punk for god, pyro, edub, wirt, and more i can't think of. i think its coming back in to business.

to me it seems like all the no lifer's play. i get on for a couple hours or so, but it seems like some people are grinding all fucking day or have a bot on or something

I don't understand the reasoning behind this rant.
Isn't this thread talking about how there are no players online now-a-days? Be happy that there's actually other people on the planet that play on this server.
Also, I don't believe anyone that currently plays uses a bot. Usually players are responsive when I pm or use the "::Yell" command.
