Just today I experienced log in issues which I resolved with rebooting my computer. The problem went away and I would like anyone else that can't log in to try this workaround and post here if this works. I don't know the full scope of this issue due to players posting little to no reporting as to what happened that they experience this bug or whatever happens when they suddenly can't log in.
What I went through was loss of connection and attempted to reload the client and find that the update server didn't connect and I still couldn't feasibly log back in. So, I rebooted my computer and tried again with success.
