For instance if I accidentally knocked over a small chair or something off the table I'll be like "sorry bro I didn't mean to do that to you" The majority of the time I refer to them as bro or dude. I do it to stuffed toys too just in case they really do have a conscience and ever get a plan to have an uprising against abusive owners.

You are not alone in that regard of animism.  There is a percent of people around the globe that do this, too.
