Guide to 99 fishing

Ok guys! So now that I am about to claim 99 fishing, I'd thought I'd tell you the fastest way to get it. Takes roughly 3 weeks with no lifing. Here is how I did it and here is how you can do it! :o

Notice: This does not include sharks at all. If one wants to fish sharks, thats their way of doing it. Sharks WILL make more profit, however they will take an extra 2 weeks at least to get 99 from 76 fishing!

Notice #2: This is an AFK-able skill and if you minimize the screen, you have the potential of getting a random event being a genie or evil chicken. The evil chicken can kill you if you aren't paying attention and the genie can teleport you to a various number of locations! Keep valuables banked if you're scared of losing valuable items. I have been killed and lost 300k + been teleported 4 times so far! HEED MY WARNING!

Red Path = Best bank route

Step 1: 1 - 20 Fishing - Small Net Fishing: You will catch about 200 shrimp and 20 anchovies through this step!

Best place to do this is in draynor south of the willow trees. Bank is close nearby if you want to keep the shrimp and anchovies!



Step 2: 20 - 40 - Fly Fishing: You will start off catching trout only at level fishing, and once at 30 you will be hooking salmon also! You will catch about 1k trout and 750 salmon in this step. :D

You will need feathers! Roughly 2k should do the job!

Best place to do this is on the eastern side of Barbarian village north of the bridge. The closest bank is directly north in edgeville!



Step 3: 40 + - Lobster Caging: You will get around 70k lobster from 40 to 99 fishing. It is the fastest and makes decent profit.

You will only need a lobster pot!

From 40 - 68 fishing, you should stay at catherby.



Step 3.5: Once you hit 68, its good to move onto the Fishing Guild which provides a closer bank! :D

If you want to, I didn't drop though. I banked everything I fished. :o

and no, lobsters are the fastest as the level doesn't effect catching speed yet. You get an inventory of lobster faster than an inventory of trout and salmon.
