I forgot to take a screenshot before I logged but in world 2 it's open and I tried to go through it but it was acting like it was closed.. I tried opening it by clicking on the "open" gate and it stayed the same.. my red marker was showing up on the other side of the gate but my player would just stand there and couldn't get through. I changed to world 1 and I got through.

You have to relog. When someone opens the gate and leaves it open then someone or the same person walks to the gate again like 5 minutes later, it looks like it's open but it's really not. It's a glitch for all doors and gates.
