Why Do YOU Play?

I happened across a conversation with "Dior", which lead to a discussion about what truly is the objective, or "point" of this game.

We had conflicting views, and I'm very interested in hearing what your personal opinions are.

So tell me, fellow rebels: Why do you play? What do you think are the main objective(s) of the game? At what point would you consider these objectives reached? Do you believe there is a definitive end to the game?

I play because I've never seen such a dedicated development team and leadership. I believe that with a dedicated team, comes a dedicated playerbase to keep them going and moving. That is why I stay here. I respect the staff and the friendly community here.
