Hello players! This month has been super busy for the development team out in the real world, but we had to make sure that we got out our update for this month. So, we took our bug zapper and jumped into the code to fix some of the "low hanging fruit" that has been bugging us for awhile. We hope you enjoy it!








Game Engine:
Fixed a Blitz Error that would occur after being damaged by "null".
Fixed a bug where you could not trade a player while standing on the same tile as them.

Core Engine:
Added the ability for doors to work in personalized area.
Added the ability to empty burnt pies.

Food & Drink:
Added the ability to pick Nettles.

Special Attacks:
Fixed the amount of special attack power required for the Dragon Longsword special.

RuneRebels:
Fixed a bug where you couldn't close trapdoors.

Fishing:
Fixed a bug where you could not switch fishing styles without stopping the player from fishing.

Commands:
Added dab command.

Quests:
Fixed a bug where Count Draynor might retreat while in the process of dying.

Hello again players! There have been some mysterious sightings near Draynor Manor recently. We had many reports of Dev Sean constantly disappearing into the haunted mansion, followed by Ryan and Onur. Something is definitely going on in there, and we need players to investigate what exactly they are up to!

Game Engine:
Modified the ObjectManager to safely allow objects to be deleted in the handler for an OnObjectDeletedEvent.

Core Engine:
Fixed a bug where opening the Crystal Chest would sometimes cause a Blitz Error.
Added features to the door and lever engine to support the Draynor Manor Basement puzzle.

Prayer:
Prayer draining now takes the Prayer bonus into account.

Mining:
Fixed a bug where you could continue to mine with a full inventory indefinitely.

Woodcutting:
  Fixed a bug where you could continue to woodcut with a full inventory indefinitely.

Slayer:
Fixed a bug where Lesser Demons from Chaelder wouldn't give Slayer experience.
Bloodvelds, Banshees, & Kalphites are no longer assigned by chaeldar for the time being

Npc Drops:
Added drops for Hardpie Bug Swarms.

We are back with another quick hotpatch! This one was mainly focused on fixing issues with existing Quests, and also making it possible to complete Slayer tasks that require the Bug Lantern. However, we threw in some other fixes as well, such as a major improvement to the Welcome Screen that fixes a long standing bug where the game would appear before it. In my opinion this makes the game feel like it is at a much higher quality level, and I hope that you guys agree!







Engine:
Fixed the issue where the game would briefly appear before the welcome screen.
Fixed a bug where if code handling an OnObjectDeleteEvent deleted another object in the game, the ObjectManager would barf all over the place.

Quests:
Fixed not being able to talk to the cook in Lumbridge for Cook's Assistant.
Re-enabled Witch's Potion.
Added additional dialogue for the closed version of the coffin in The Restless Ghost.

Firemaking:
Added the ability to light and extinguish Bug Lanterns.

RuneRebels:
Added the ability to open and close the coffin for the Restless Ghost.

After a long wait, we are very excited to announce the release of Lost City! It has been an extremely long process of adding numerous new features to the Quest Editor in order to support everything required for this quest. However, these additions to the tools have resulted in an increase in the speed at which we can develop new content, as many previously blocked quests are now programmable. We thank you all for your patience and hope you all enjoy the new quest, the new Zanaris area, and all the new dragon weapons!

Added Lost City quest!


The Lost City of Zanaris has finally been found!
Although it was in a state of disrepair, it has been brought back to life.
You can see a detailed description of the items that were fixed below. :)

Added dialogue for all of the residents of Zanaris.
Added all of the shops whose owners reside in the lovely Lost City.



Game Engine:
Added initial built in support for variable bit settings.

Core Engine:
Fixed the Magic Door in Lost City.

Fishing:
Added the Fishing spots on Entrana.

Prayer:
Fixed the Prayer alter on Entrana.

Woodcutting:
Added the Dramen tree for the Lost City quest.

Smithing:
Fixed the furnace in Zanaris.

Npc Spawns:
Fixed a bug where Otherworldly beings would not walk around.

Slayer:
Added the correct behavior and animations for Zygomites.
Added the ability for "finishing off" items to turn into another item.
Added support for multiple valid "finishing off" items on monsters.

Npc Drops:
Fixed the drops for Otherworldly beings.

Karamja:
Added a brand new boat transportation system.
Made almost all of the boats actually work.
Fixed various non-working ladders & gangplanks.

Hello everyone! We are very excited to finally release this massive update to RuneRebels. Andromeda is packed full of tons of bug fixes and new features for everyone to enjoy, and is probably our largest update this year. We hope you enjoy it, and we have additional content already in the pipeline!





I do want to apologize about the delay with this update, I was traveling across the country this week and had to handle a lot of unexpected things that came up which caused this to get delayed a bit more than usual. In the future I'll try to post on the forums in advance when a delay is expected. I hope you enjoy the update!

Engine:
Fixed a bug where the ground item manager did not respect the maximum stack amount specified by plugins.
Fixed a bug where players wouldn't face the correct direction when using objects when their Y coordinate was above 9999.
Fixed a bug where dropped items with maximum stack amounts would stack in very odd ways. (The "arrow stacking" bug)
Fixed a NullPointerException that could occur during following.
Fixed a bug that may cause a Blitz Error when adding an item to a full inventory.
Npcs will no longer walk around while in dialogue with a player.
Added the Crystal Key chest in Taverly.

Bank:
Added the Mage Bank.

Core Engine:
Fixed the door located at 3228,3240.
Fixed a bug where you could not walk through webs after slashing them.
Added animations to slashing spider webs.
Modified all of the Guild Doors to use the new door API, so now they actually open!

Skillcapes will now allow a player into a Guild that normally requires another type of clothing.
The Brass Key door now opens and closes properly.

Fixed a Blitz Error that occurred when using the prison door.

RuneRebels 2.4.5 Aurora Borealis





We hope that you have been enjoying the last update! We haven't been standing still and have spent the last month tweaking and fixing many of the bugs that you guys found with the last update, and many long standing bugs that players have been encountering. We've also continued to polish the tools and processes that we use to development the game, which will enable us to bring you higher quality content at a faster pace.





As promised, this is our second update for 2018 following the monthly release schedule. I hope that this shows that the team and I are dedicated to keeping this release cycle going, and we are happily looking forward to the rest of the year!

Hey guys, just another quick update.
We have released our first patch update to RuneRebels 2.4 to fix some of the bugs that slipped past us.
I've documented below some of the fixes made in RuneRebels 2.4.1. Enjoy! ;D







Bugfixes for Cooking:
Fixed a Blitz error when fermenting wine without having any in the bank.
Updated churning animation and messages.
Made dairy churning animation start immediately. Fixed a bug with range detection, see #32.
Made dairy churning members only.
Modified clicking the dairy churn to only show you things you can actually make.
Changed the dairy churn error message to a send message.
Added level check call before the 12 second churning delay.
Modifications to churning animation code.
Added correct level requirement messages for Dairy churning.
The user is now prompted for how many they want to make when making dough.
Added correct messages for making dough.
Fixed a bug where some ranges would burn all potatoes.

We are excited to release this to you guys, as it will be one of many.
We will be doing monthly updates, focusing on consistency, and quality over quantity.
With this update we wanted to focus on something easier to work on, rather than tackling a beast that may put too much of a weight on our backs.





More personally, for me it has been very tough recently to balance working on the game with everything going on in my real life. It is much harder to find time to work on things that you enjoy when doing schoolwork, paying bills, and other aspects of life. However, I would like to reaffirm that this project still holds a special place in my heart and will continue to be supported and updated.

I am extremely excited and happy to announce with the team that as stated above, we will be releasing at least one update per month with no exceptions for the foreseeable future. The amount of content in these updates may not always be equal, some may focus more on specific areas where some may focus more on the tools that the developers use to do work independent of me. Regardless, we plan on keeping the momentum and communication going to keep the server and community alive and kicking. I am a huge fan of the Dolphin Emulator blog, and we are looking to model our communication style after theirs.

Lastly, as we work on more tools and automation to aid with the development of the server, we will be looking out for more developers, bug reporters, and testers. You may also notice that some of our staff appear as online in game on the "Telegram" world, which actually redirects private messages to their mobile phone. We hope to roll this feature out to players soon as well, but having constant access to staff for any questions you may have will hopefully help reaffirm that we are there for you guys.

Fish pie
Garden pie
Mud pie

Dairy Churning (Cream, butter, and cheese)

Added message field in cooking_food_definitions to override default cooking message
           Example: "You successfully bake a mucky mud pie."
When an uncookable item is used on a cooking source, it will now say: "You can't cook that on a fire." or "You can't cook that on a range."
Added support for Cooking Gauntlets
Added many "How many would you like to make" prompts in places they were missing



Fixed not facing the NPC you are attacking at all times
Fixed not picking up one singular item from dropped unstackable items
           Example: Picking up Bronze Bars dropped from Bronze Dragons that are in multiples of 1
would place all bronze bars into your inventory, or none at all depending on remaining inventory space
Fixed the issue with emotes not cancelling out actions
Fixed robots counting towards player count



It will now say "You can't reach that!" when trying to interact with objects too far away
You can now burn food by using cooked food on a cooking source
Farming message improvements (lots of "INSERT" messages fixed)



Added ::playtime so players can see how long they have spent in the game!

Description: All Core AllGoFree services will be offline due to planned upgrades to both the hardware and software of one of the main servers. Total downtime is currently unknown, but the forum should stay online. The game worlds and login server will be shut down, as the database holding player information will be offline.
