After the first time, I would have begun to log off only while in a safe zone.  Simple to do, and saves you a bunch of headaches.

No, no, no.  The "newbies" should earn their "pro" status - it's what I have started doing.  I don't go looking for free handouts, and don't feel that the ones who own wealth should feel obligated to distribute what they have earned.

Better hope the wrong crowd doesn't migrate here. There were dozens of trolls that made the forum and in game experience miserable at times on the other server. That's one of the benefits you have had starting with a smaller player base. It's unfortunate that the immaturity of a few could be their ultimate downfall, and I hope the same demise is not going to duplicate here.

The vote ends March 1st, not Friday. We will likely be paying $5 extra, and 500k votes is still attainable for no extra fees.

There is nothing truly sad about it if people who want the old game are willing to pay premium for it. Certainly beats the crap out of private servers. I respect servers like this one a lot, but if the real deal comes back, fully coded, is this community really going to say no? I doubt it. There are thousands who will pay $13/month for the real thing.

Most people can't even comprehend the astronomic difference between real 2007 Runescape and the remakes that have so far failed to even scratch the surface of the full content.

Have fun fighting the bots and complete no-lifers for those resources.  Should be fun... And you do realize that some people play private servers because they are fed up with Jagex themselves and do not want to send another red cent to them?  The cost really isn't that bad, but these servers, drama and all, are fun to watch grow with people that are truly dedicated to the player experience.

Such ignorance here.  I see spattered all over the forums how you want to hold yourselves in such high esteem, but at every turn you grasp onto every piece of propaganda and run with it.  I've never seen such outright jealously as this.  If you think you have the superior server, then enjoy it while it lasts.  You never know when Axel will get butthurt here and screw your entire database over.

And by the way Axel, this quote is beyond precious... "Just be at your best behaviour, be mature - that is how I go about it."  I mean, are you fucking kidding me?
did you see the status on it as well.. lol

The status is the same for both... did you not bother to check that out?

Hey, I almost signed up on this server - it was between this one and two others.  The extremely small number of players when I was hunting was a concern, so I chose elsewhere.  I still check this server and a couple others to see how everything is progressing, because I am truly interested in 2006 remakes being successful.

Your response however showed me that you really don't care about the 2006 remake scene - you only care about who wins it.  That is the kind of attitude that will keep this server from reaching its potential - great management/developers or not.
