I don't know if you're still taking forum suggestions, but you ought to add a shoutbox or IRC.
I often drop by randomly, but most of the time I see no reason to make a post. If there were an IRC we would be able to talk without having to spam up the forum!

I would suggest 2005's event, however it's a shame we cannot do the one from 2007, as that was so fun, I believe you were rewarded with the Grim Reaper Mask for that.
EDIT:
Please leave this event running for up to a week after Halloween, as I am unlikely to get on during this college break, and many may have the same problem.
Also, make it so you can only obtain one of the items per account, like this years easter event. (Not the eggs, the rubber chicken).

Yeah welcome mate, you also came from ProjectRS06. When it shut down, a lot of people migrating here for approximately two weeks, that's why all the YouTube videos of RuneRebels are like 2 years old :3

Absolutely disagree with rewards and ::yell.
I'm probably going to bust out the VPN software I used to use for gold farming another server soon, I'll be able to vote 200 - 250 times in one go, all of you guys should start VPN voting as much as possible, getting the name up on the toplists are all that's important, not ethics

I disagree with having the ::yell feature, it just isn't something that seems right, unless of course you use it to your advantage like most servers, and make it a donator only function. I would definitely be on board with a clan chat though.

Think of RuneRebels as a BluRay player.
Essentially to attempt this would be trying to play a video cassette tape with the said BluRay player.
