Yeah, back in 2006, to prevent getting scammed with the "Unidentified Herb" trick, we said "Buying Unids lvl 40/whatever and above" and filled our inventory with 1 of each of the noted herbs you wanted and the rest with junk. If the trade didn't go through, the person was giving you bad herbs.

How do you get so many genies compared to other players? Is it during woodcutting or something? I get one random event that isn't the bugged evil chicken every 20 hours of ingame time.

What if saying a ::yell also said it over your head too? (Without duplicating it in the near-bluechat) So if people are yelling in a full bank, people there can identify the yeller by position. Would help with trades.

I know this is super late, but for anyone wondering in the future (before the log is fixed) you can snipe the reds from the correct tile next to the log. Then you can telegrab the loot.

Agreed. And that's not limited to mmorpgs, also works for fps, rpg, etc. And all this instant gratification makes it hard to get out of once you're hooked.

It's not a good thing - other than it teaching you how not to spend your time. Nothing is 100% bad, all bad experiences help you learn. I personally do not take this knowledge and apply it as much as I should so I'm the definition of a hypocrite lol.

Sadman and I were looking around for the eggs possibly hidden in chests or boxes or bookcases, which was kind of fun -  before we knew we were lied to by the mysterious afk people but whatev, the lying is just a pet peeve lol.

I think this event would have gone a lot smoother if the eggs spawned randomly throughout many of the boxes and chests. It's not too late to change it, it's still April. And to reward teamwork - if a person finds the current egg-box it could give 1 egg max per player that clicks it until the box switches again.
