Let's just hope we get a lot of new players from all the advertising. If the 2.0 doesn't attract a lot of new players, I don't know what else will... It really sucks to play this game by myself 95% of the time

I'm not sure what to think of it. All I really know is that life is not fair. No matter how happy you are right now, there will be time in your life where you will suffer. Ie: Death of family member, loss of job, illness, etc...
Also, making money is the number one reason people strive to accomplish great feats. Think how much less technologically advanced we would be if there was no extrinsic reward to invest time into things etc... Working at a job you hate can be stressful, but you know fully well that you only need to put in that 40 hours a week to get it done. You have all the other hours in the week to do things you like. What is the difference between doing something you like all the time vs working? Working earns you money, you can use that money in the free time to travel, entertain, buy expensive things and still have enough hours in the week to do what you like. The other person who enjoys what they are doing but earns much less money will always struggle financially, and that itself can be more stressful than a bad job.
Tl;dr: I don't blame you :)

I'd play the shit out of runescape if it had the graphics above but the content of 2006. Idk why but 2006 content is just perfect for me. It used to be overly basic game with so much grinding, while nothing was really that OP.

Would you recommend it or?

Even though I said myself that I don't like the game, I would recommend this game IF you liked games such as Guild Wars 2... It has a very similar feel to it. The only problem is that it will be $15 a month. I, however, do not want to play another MMORPG that has you level to max with pointless quests and then grind dungeons for better gear. I think Shroud of Avatar will suit me much better and anyone who cares about deep crafting and exploration.

I got in and played today, but tbh it is really boring... I think today's MMORPGs are just not made for me nomore... questing is very similar to WoW and the combat is only interesting the first couple hours...it's a good thing i got this chance to try it out, because now i know im definately not buying it at release. The UI is the only similar thing to skyrim. Everything else feels like a MMORPG which I think will turn a lot of console gamers off.

1) Why not allow some special donator only section on forums where admins can post future updates before they release them to the rest of community.
2) Or how about everyone is available an avatar of their choice, but only donators get to have their avatar coloured, and non-donators would have theirs grayed out.
3) Maybe no signatures allowed for non-donators?
4) How about only donators get "forever" log in option, so if you are non-donator you have to log in every time you visit
5) Lastly, make donators be able to use coloured text, change font, size etc... also pictures and videos in their posts, while non-donators are only restricted to normal font etc...

2005 one! Make the hats and scarves untradable please. Don't introduce any rares that are tradable until we get a larger community. Smaller community will just hoard the rares until only few select people have the entire stack of rares... that would break the economy of the item.

To have abyssal whip (full slayer implementation), all dragon, obsidian (Tzhaar fight cave), and barrow items, and the most important quest of them all: Recipe For Disaster (with all rewards) :D This means you need to finish all prerequisite quests which are important as well! Please set this as priority, because there is nothing better to work towards then best gear in Runescape!

You DO NOT KNOW what chaos that this means for us quest devs.  :'(

Haha I really don't :P But why waste time on something trivial like Cook's Assistant when you can start out with most important quests :)
