As some of you may already know, I only have 300k xp left to go till 99 ranged and should be the first to get it on the server! To celebrate, I have decided to throw a community event so that others can join in on the fun!

The event will be as follows:
On Saturday, May 24th, around approx. 8pm EST (subject to change, I will post the exact time that I plan on hosting the event the day of) I will challenge players at the Duel Arena with approx. 25k xp left till level 99. The order I will challenge people will be determined by initially having all attending players stand on the same spot so that when I right click, their names will appear in a list. I will then take note of this list and either go from top to bottom or bottom to top (will be decided on the spot). All late-showing players will become last in line. If I fight all the players and have not levelled, the order will be rechosen the same way as the first time. I will challenge players in the given order until I reach level 99 and the player I level on will win a prize! :3

Rules of the duels:
-No Food ~ To ensure the fights don't drag on and everyone gets a turn.
-No Prayer ~ To ensure no player has any advantage over those with low prayer.
-No Forfeit ~ To ensure no trolling.

Anything else goes! Skillers can attend, just don't fight back. If anything is unclear, please ask for clarification! I hope everyone has fun! :)

Alright, here's my rant on this years Easter event. I mean no disrespect to the mods and devs that planned it and implemented it into the game, this is solely my opinion and everyone is entitled to their own.

Okay, with that being said, I'm going to come out and say it. The Easter event was foolish and ill-planned. The point of holiday events should be to bring the community together and to let players enjoy the game together on the corresponding holiday. I do not believe that this event in any way brought the community together. It turned into a competition between players and sparked arguments and accusations. Players tried lying and decieving others in order to obtain the eggs for themselves, more than likely to take advantage of the fact that the eggs will become discontinued after today and they'll be able to make a quick buck once demand rises. There are plenty of players that have not gotten a single egg whilst there are players that have a handful. I did manage to get one egg for myself and it is the only egg that I plan on getting or trying to get, nor do I plan on selling it at any time. I like the idea of having it so that when future players join and ask about holiday rares, I can say "Yeah, I played that day and got one."

May I suggest that next year for the Easter event, tons of non-edible, non-tradable eggs be hid all over Runerebels. In cabinets, drawers, crates, store inventories, on the ground, etc. These eggs have a respawn time of around 20ish minutes and once a player collects about five of them, they are taken to one of the easter bunnies in exchange for the holiday rare and there is a limit on how many rares are able to be gotten.

Again, this is completely my opinion. I simply did not like the way this event turned out at all. Thanks for reading.

Hi, I was just wondering if the server will ever be a true 2006 remake? What I mean is will it ever encompass everything that was added to Runescape up to the end of 2006? I understand that it is a revision of sometime around April/May 2006, but when my friends and I first joined the server, we were under the impression that it would eventually have everything that was in and added to Runescape by the end of 2006. I've seen on the forums that content such as Construction won't be added since it's not in the revision used but once the current revision is finished (still got a long ways, but someday), will the developers continue on and add new content? I've also seen that such an addition would require a full server restart which would be no fun, but this is not the case in actual Runescape as they make content updates regularly without any sort of wipe. Just wondering about the devs attitude toward the topic, thanks :)

I'm a pretty big anime fan and I was wondering if any other RuneRebellers are too! My favorite is One Piece, but I've watched quite a few others. I was hoping any other fans could share their favorites here! PLEASE, NO SPOILERS! So I'm sure a few people already know how to do this but I just figured it out today and I thought it would be neat to share it with the community :)

Step 1: Search "virtualbrowser for firefox" on appstore (it's free!).
Step 2: Download it and wait for it to install.
Step 3: Open app and type "runerebels.com" into the address bar, tap return.
Step 4: Tap the "Play" button, "2006 remake; Runerebels" (or worldscape if you're feeling frisky).
Step 5: Tap on which world you'd like to play on and wait for the game to load! :)

Tips: Tap the arrow in the bottom right corner and then enable "mouse mode." I found it was a lot easier to navigate and play using it. Single tap for left click, tap with two fingers at the same time for right click. I do not recommend doing any intense activities in-game (such as tanking dragons or something) while playing this way as there is a decent amount of lag, but good for chopping trees, fishing and whatnot!

Not sure if it works with android or anything else, I've only tested it on my iPhone 5c.

I'm trying to level my ranged up but I want to help my friend with smithing so to be more specific, are there any monsters that drop coal or other ores at a decent rate? Drops haven't been added to rockslugs so they arn't an option and I know rock crabs drop coal in 3's but I don't think it's a very efficient method. Any help is appreciated! :)

I would really like to see an improvement to the task system currently in the game. I really like how one can talk to a master after recieving a task and ask for a new one as there are a lot of trash tasks. What I'm hoping to see sometime soon is the addition of tasks to kill monsters that are already in the game. I am NOT asking for the slayer tower to be added, as that will require a very large amount of time and effort, but instead am asking that monsters, blue dragons for example, that are already in the game be added to the task list. Vannaka is in fact supposed to assign blue dragons in the actual game which is part of why I don't understand why this hasn't been added. Also, please increase the rate at which a player is assigned the better tasks like ogres, dragons, etc. and decrease the rate of the less appealling tasks. I don't understand why crocodiles for example are so frequently assigned when they haven't even been implemented yet. Same goes for Infernal Mages and Otherworldly Beings. I've talked to others in-game that agree with me. Thanks for reading!
