Hey I just thought of something. Why don't we give away alt accounts that we don't use anymore/think someone else could use more actively? This may expand the server number of players. So ask a friend or acquaintance of sorts. It'll be more tempting to an old player to "not start over again". Plus, an account with good XP and a bad name may give them reason to donate 5 dollars for the name change? I dunno. Just an idea...

You can check the player list by typing "::players" and hitting enter. Whenever a new player is strolling about in Lumby or any area, introduce yourself, and answer all of his/her question. Be polite, be the best veteran example of a player you can be. Give him/her free stuff. Hang out. Or even, invite all the other players online right then and call them over to swarm the new player. Make him/her feel overjoyed at the greatness of this server. Good Luck.

-Music System: Showcase songs like Dangerous, Autumn Voyage, Ice melody, Horizon, and/or Knightly. A music system is something special that RuneRebels has, and it puts the icing on the cake for new, nostalgic players of the old. I just gave a few examples, you don't have to do any of these songs.
-Quests: Though we have few quests, we should show Rune Mysteries, and/or Sheep Shearer. It'll show new players that we have started to develop quests and are attempting to re-create the old Runescape 2006.
-Skills: We need to show off mining, woodcutting, smithing, fishing. Since, these are some of the basic survival skills a player needs, especially since there is no real economy in rune rebels right now.
-Interface: The entire "old-school" prayer book, magic spellbook, equipment interface, quest journal etc all needs to be emphasized. (Some people even don't like the pre-eoc modern runescape interfaces).
-Friends List, Ignore Lists: Friends list with only the current players online in green, to show the illusion that we are actually booming in players. Then, add a few offline players to make the friends list look authentic.
-Monsters: For examples, show off Giant Mole, Red Dragons, Brimhaven Dungeon Monsters, Green Dragons whatever. By the way, bring a tele when visiting the Giant Mole since the Exit does not work.

Hey, I was thinking that we all could vote for the"RuneRebels 2006 server" on RuneLocus at 9 am and 9pm, (since there is a 12 hour bracket). If the voting time is organized, I believe that more people will not forget to vote. If you don't know where to vote, there's a conspicuous post that says "Vote Here" just as you click into the main forum page.
I've decided to vote for this server twice every day (except the days when I'm going on family vacation) even when I'm not actively playing RuneRebels. Why? Because you never know when you'll come back, and you end up helping the server and its people nonetheless.

I'm selling mole skins and claws (dropped from Giant Mole) which could be traded in for Bird nests, depending on whether bird nests will be added in the near future. Bird nests can give common to very rare seeds like tree seeds.
I have lots of mole skins and claws. PM me in-game or personal message if interested. I have 1 farming.
