I thought it'd be interesting to try to see how much money there is in total in the economy atm. This would include cash only, not value of items you have. The sooner together the posts are made the more accurate the total amount will be. I'll keep a tally of the total for a couple of days but then just settle on a value because it will be way out of whack after a while. Hope this interests some other people as well :).

I saw an update that showed a new background that is supposed to be for the downloadable client however, even after reinstalling it, I still have the old runescape background. Is the new background not up yet, or is there something going wrong on my end or what?

Just curious how high on the list of things to do fixing alching prices is or how close they are to being fixed. Can't wait for them to be fixed. :)

Just recently I was runecrafting nature runes, back and forth between the altar and the general store. When i first started running i had about 2900 essence on me. After a while I took a break and came back to run more. Since that return I have played at least a couple of hours and I specifically remember my noted essence go under 1000. A while after, soon after the show I was watching while playing finished, I went to check the highscores for rune crafting as I do very frequently. To my surprise, the highscores on the website read about 345000 experience while in game i was showing about 356000 experience. Wondering if maybe there was a problem with the highscores, i attempted to communicate with Francis who was showing up online, asking him if the highscores were working. After a minute or two with no response, I quickly took a picture of my stats afraid that I might lose my experience upon relogging, and sure enough, I did. After relogging, my experience showed what the highscores showed, and the players that had appeared on my online list before, were completely different.
I can't understand how it was letting me play on the server, getting xp, and making nature runes and all, without being online. I also remember having to load new parts of the map as I ran back and forth with the nature runes, so I don't know how I could have been loading the map as well without being online.
The main reason I am upset about this is because the 2 hours or so that I spent running nature runes are basically gone now, and it doesn't sound very exciting for me to have to get that back.
