If I remember correctly this problem was addressed and implemented to prevent scamming much along the lines that you mentioned.

Thanks for the report. We will let Aemad know that his management is being a bit lazy.

As for the trade issue, I can't exactly confirm at this time but I reported it anyhow. If this is the case it would be a nice quality of life improvement.

Sounds great! Maybe it's an idea to have highscores aswell for loyalty points!

Perhaps unique forum titles for rewards?

Fixed bugs / Re: Seed and ring nests tradable?
« on: August 18, 2018, 09:43:58 am »
I believe you are correct in thinking that these items should only be tradeable without an item inside the nest. I checked in game and found that all uncrushed nests, whether they have an item or not are tradeable between players and shops. According to the wiki, nests crushed or not are tradeable, but when they have an item inside the nest as you stated, they should not be tradeable.

I'll issue this to the developers to fix. Thanks for the report!

There are some plans in the works to change up things with the forums to make them more welcoming.

I also don't think he was referring to your idea negatively but saying that the RR subreddit was /r/shitpost, as a joke.

Thanks for the clarification... These "developer tools" seem rather fancy :o. I look forward to more updates! :D

The developer tools are quite fancy but complicated with each specific action they need to perform. However, Ryan creates a simple to use User Interface which makes editing changes ridiculously easy!

This allows other users who aren't Ryan, the host and owner of the source code, to modify and manipulate certain things within the code, even when we're hundreds if not thousands of miles away from each other.

The idea of it is quite amazing  ;D

Also, we appreciate you sharing this as it's great for us to receive feedback from the community. I hope to see more suggestions in the future! Some of the ideas you folks come up with are fantastic so don't be bashful. If it's already on a to-do list, there is no shame in clarifying.  Thanks!

Indeed, a webclient would be good for people to use again, however I believe it stopped working due to Java fixing a security exploit or a patch that stopped RR & WS being able to use webclients... Also didn't the likes of Google Chrome drop support for Java applets?

Good afternoon Muse, Buttplug, and Thehate,

Unfortunately this is true, webclients no longer work hence the reason why OSRS now requires you to play on a downloaded client.

Ryan will be looking into streamlining the process of logging into the server making it easier for new players to join in-game. This has been in the plans for some time and is documented for a future update that will bring advertisements for the server as well.

We'll likely see this update after the team has got more developer tools under their belt to use and a bit more content for you guys to play. The team doesn't want old and new players to join into broken content or join back to find the same content limits that they quit at.

Introductions / Re: Hi and Help
« on: March 15, 2017, 10:31:32 pm »
Hi there, thanks for the warm welcome, ive downloaded the client as you said, however when i click on the loader it comes up with a message, "please launch the loader from the included launch file"

Hello there, sorry to hear you're having difficulties loading into the server, hopefully I can clear up your problems.

Inside of the RuneRebels folder, which you've extracted, also has a "Run.bat" file. Try using Run.bat to load the game.
When I try loading in with the loader.jar file it also gives me the error you showed however the Run.bat works fine, so we can start there.

If you have further problems post them here and we'll try to figure them out!

Yikes, what a bug.
This will be documented immediately as it's required content for 'F2P' players to complete Cook's Assistant.

Are you currently stuck in-game?

Also, thanks for reporting this bug. - Seth

With the implementation of the ForceMovement mask commands that Ryan has very recently added, this should be possible!
Updated to bug database!

I overheard the developers speaking upon this issue earlier yesterday.
This bug has also been previously logged into the bug database by another developer.
This will be fixed in an update soon to come!

Thanks for reporting this bug Chris! - Seth
