I'd rather be the village idiot, then the village clown :D.

You're both.

Tech Support / Re: Need help i think laptops bust :\
« on: March 01, 2013, 08:33:57 am »
Well, I suppose that's right - but in a laptop, everything is packed so close together that a little hot air blowing around could damage some parts that normally don't get hot. The black screen he's describing is something I personally saw on a friend's computer with faulty ram - which is why I suggested it.

Maybe it's time for an upgrade. I mean, 512mb is a pitiful amount of RAM to have nowadays.

However, that's not what you asked for, so I'll try help you out.

If it's an overheating problem, as JT mentioned, then the two most likely culprits of this problem are the processor and the RAM. If it's the processor, you're better off just buying a new machine, since it would be far too cost-inefficient to replace. If it's the RAM, however, you should be able to pick up a couple of extra sticks fairly cheap (check websites like NewEgg and PCPartPicker).

Your problem sounds a lot like broken RAM, so you might want to check that out. Also, do what JT suggested and remove the hard drive - if booting gives you a "missing OS" error, or something of the sort then it's some sort of hard drive failure, and you'll have to replace that (again, probably more cost-efficient to just buy a new machine).

Good luck fixing your (hopefully) temporarily-busted laptop!

Edit: Also, the Spiders on the path to Draynor from Lumbridge (next to the H.A.M. HQ entrance).

Suggestions, Compliments, And Questions / Re: Terms of Service agreement
« on: February 26, 2013, 05:18:18 pm »
Terms of Service do actually change things, because upon violating them, any and all evidence found is then inadmissible in court, which means that any lawyer worth shit would have the case thrown out before court came into the picture.

This is wrong. ToS are not legally binding, moparscape does this just to show that Fagex's ToS is also not legally binding. A smart move, but in court it would only protect a barrier against one thing. There is many other tricks moparscape uses, all of which we can not use, but we do have strategies of avoiding them :3
Because in all actuality, you can't do anything illegal. That would be like going to buy crack and having to sign a terms of agreement saying that if you're caught you can't rat out the dealer. xD

That's actually a surprisingly accurate analogy. I think this pretty much concludes this thread.

Hey,

Just to clarify, are you only selling yew logs? Or would you happen to have normal/willow/oak logs for sale as well?

Thanks!
I've already sold them all and got none, but if you'd like I could collect what you need to your liking but it would cost a premium.

How much would you charge per willow/maple, if I order in bulk (2000+)?

General / Re: Should I create a shop on RR?
« on: February 25, 2013, 03:53:56 pm »
It's a good idea, but you should probably do some market research first. Put up some polls, asking about people's usual consumption, purchasing habits, etc., then base the amount you gather/produce on the results of that research.

Good luck!
