No way! Smf is superior to all other forums. Plus, everything is integrated :)

I think update the images for ranks on the forums. The banners don't stand out as much as a crown normally would.

Add a suggestion for reporting players, so that evidence can be submitted when needed

Perhaps replacing the "last post" link in a forum group thread with a link that directs to the last new post.  Who wants to see the last post anyways?  I mostly want to see what is new directly from a listing.

i dont think thats a good idea. I peesonally like to check all the new posts in the morning by simply pressing the last posts button.

This, but picture's can easily be edited.. use a screen capture tool like http://prntscr.com/ for reports if ever needed?

Garnu's idea is good, I'd rather see what's new.

When I press the last post button, all the posts I didn't see up to the last post are above, which forces me to find the last new post I've seen in the case of a lot of new posts.  I'd rather have a link to my last seen post, which is a variable on each account's data as to which it is.  What's happening right now is I get sent to the last post of the thread, which skips all the posts I never have read.  What you are griping about in your post contradicts what you really want to see when you press "last post" which I think is the newest post in a thread.  All I get is the very last post of the thread itself, not the newest post I've yet to see.  Maybe it's a forum bug.

If we were to use any screen capturing tool we would use Ryan's PIX which he has been working on for a few years XD

I've got a forum suggestion.
Wouldn't it be better if there was a Screenshot section for the General Board? Images\Screenshots of RuneRebels wouldn't fit in any other section except General Media & Graphical Design, but that's in Miscellaneous Boards which is for things not related to RuneRebels..

The misc. board isn't for things not related to RR O.o it's for things that aren't listed lol...

if it's for things that aren't listed, why not list it? o.o

Anyways, look at the misc board, it's filled with Other Games, Current World Events, Forum Games, & Off topic... I don't think rr screenshots should be around there

What does "reputation" sound like for our forums? With a rep system people will start being more helpful, and will post more thoughtful replies\posts in hopes of getting higher reputation. This might be worthless now, but when we have much more players I think it'll do a good job. Thoughts?

A fault of having a rep system, is some people might give rep points to a friend and give negative rep points to someone they don't like, not on the basis of that person contributing a useful post/thread. If only forum moderators were the only one's that could give reputation points, then I would trust that system more. But from other forums I see, the whole rep system is usually abused.

Heres an idea that came to mind.
We could have a most thoughtful post of the month/week, where whoever posts gets a reward of ingame items. If some users would be willingly to donate a few items that could work. Also we could have a challenge where somebody tries to make a useful guide. And the person who makes the most useful, and entertaining guide wins a prize, possibly a forum title or ingame items from people who are willingly to donate. I am willingly to donate a few items if this were to happen.

People just farm Rep while others just ignore it completely. I'd like a Thank system though.

Well, you see that hideous post count graphic under everyone's avatar? You could do something about that.

I don't know if you're still taking forum suggestions, but you ought to add a shoutbox or IRC.

I often drop by randomly, but most of the time I see no reason to make a post. If there were an IRC we would be able to talk without having to spam up the forum!

Hello, by the way. See my point?!

forum suggestion:
change from 'HighScores' to 'HiScores', like how Runescape had in in 2006, and how 2007 has it.

look at the top it says 'Hiscore'

another suggestion would be to add the highscores on the top menu for people that are not logged in.

Agreed, even though you can still access it from the front page of the forums it would be nice to have it in this section as well
