You can ::lock a skill and ::unlock a skill whenever you like, just remember you don't have to type it every time you login, it stays from the first moment you type it.
Death Note:
Why are you getting rid of these commands? They are both useful and fun to use. Nothing is more fun then having a group of ten do a rickroll sing-a-long. :P
