As some of you have noticed once you upgraded to the newest version of Java you have lost the ability to load the web client. The only work around that will allow you to use it is to down grade back to the second latest update which is update 45.

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/java-archive-downloads-javase7-521261.html#jre-7u45-oth-JPR

The link provided will allow you to download the JVM, also a note downloading JDK is pointless unless you want to start writing programs in Java. So if you wish to save space and only wish to run games download "Java SE Runtime Environment 7u45", if you wish to run games but also are interested in learning how to program Java at some point then you may wish to opt for the "Java SE Development Kit 7u45". Hopefully they find a way to get their client authorized or else they will have to find another way to by pass the changes update 51 has brought up.

http://www.java.com/en/download/help/java_blocked.xml

That should also help explain why you weren't able to load the web client if any of you were interested in knowing.

Wouldn this give an error message about the java version being insecure?
Because, before i updated to the newest version I couldn't use the webclient because of my java version being outdated :p

Yes it will most likely give you the prompt that your Java version isn't the newest but all you have to do is just hit run now and then hit later.

If I get a chicken and get killed while I am unable to log in, I better have my items returned.

The most likely case is your account wasn't removed from a list. I wouldn't doubt they use either a list or map to hold all the connections that have been accepted. So most likely the problem is the function used to remove you from the list either isn't being called or got deleted by accident. But who knows this is only a guess and it could be many other things.

Java 7 update 51 makes it so they have to use a new manifest template while also having authorized code.

This is because your variables aren't set right. Edit your run.bat and change
Code: [Select]
java -Xmx256M -jar .\jar\loader.jar -configurl http://www.runerebels.com/resources/config.agf
to
Code: [Select]
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xmx256M -jar .\jar\loader.jar -configurl http://www.runerebels.com/resources/config.agf

It would be much easier to just set the path, that way he wouldn't have to reset his real path every time he has to download the client again.

All you need to do is just edit the path variable which you should already have, if not just hit new. Type in Path and then copy and paste the location of your java install, if the path variable already exists add a ; after the current variable value and then add your java install.

It will be something like C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin, or if you downloaded the 32bit on a 64bit OS it will be Program Files(x86).

Suggestions, Compliments, And Questions / Re: Suggestion to raise XP RATE

or you could just go to a different private server because it sounds like this one isn't good enough for you...

why do you even feel obligated to suggest they should change anything if you haven't even donated or invested in the server?

being a donor gives you more of a right? I thought donating didn't give any advantages over regular players.

investing into the server? I didn't know this was the stock exchange.

I like to gain xp like anyone else but not at levels that are on par with or just 10xp higher then runescape.

A donation is a gift with out expectations. Why should they give out all kinds of stuff to get people to donate? Isn't the point of a donation to help an organization you like continue on working? If all you can say is, they give you a t-shirt or some small trinket then you can look right at your donor rank on the forum. ;)

I find it quite sad most people donate only to further their self and not just donate to help a cause they believe in. Also enjoy the 99.999999999% up time this month. Oh wait is that even possible in a language that isn't Erlang. ;)

As far as I know it must be an executable to be pinned.

After searching I found a hackery method to do it.

Bots can be beaten but I doubt anyone is going to make an advance enough bot that would stump the team.

The function is there for a reason, the changes needed to allow multiple accounts on a single email is a lot and wouldn't be worth the time to do it.

EDIT:
After doing a little more searching I may have found a mod that could prove useful for what you're requesting.
