Well Mortal...

You can join me, in my quest to smite all things with my ax-... SPEAR! You can also cut down trees, and burn logs, and catch fishies, and kill ducklings. You can also kill others, such as my enemies, especially my enemies. You can also make friends! If I haven't sold you yet on this incredible Server, then I'll have to relay what Neptune said on the matter:

"Well Runerebels is a LOVELY server. Good people, good staff. Just one problem. Not enough dolphins. Can't have good --" That is what Neptune said before being repeatedly beaten with an oak tree. As such, it's clear, even Neptune likes it here! Though I don't think Neptune ever came here. Regardless, even my rivals love it here! I love it here! So it can't be too bad a place!

I say you should log on, use your account, play around, and judge the server for yourself, mortal.

Granted, but I'll be taking your eyes for safe keeping. Into the jar they go.. Hehehe..

I wish I were to become a mortal.

To multi-log.. hmm.. I'm guilty as charged of such a thing.

Now let me tell you, it's HARD! Do you know how ridiculously hard it is to keep two game clients open at the same time AND do a semi-afk-able task? That's just with TWO clients, imagine three or four, that would be nearly improbable on all levels. Not to mention the task each one may be doing! I was just woodcutting, imagine firemaking, runecraft, combat, etc, it's just ridiculously unlikely.

All in all, I say let it stay. If people want to do it, let them, they're the ones who have to suffer with being bogged down by having multiple clients open, and skilling/combat/etc. It's annoying to attempt, and annoying while in progress, and overall I doubt we'll ever seen it being widespread.

Not bad mortal. Not bad at all. Odin is pleased. You may live yet another day.

((Really though, not bad at all. I'd throw you a cookie if I had one to throw. A very peculiar story to say the least. Had a different ending then I had expected it to be. I figured some sort of sneaky admin would be behind it. Instead of some form of magic. ))
i thought it was! But i didn't want to say it, if it wasn'tt haha

I felt similarly with my introduction!
I was thinking "Hmmph... I wonder if anyone will appreciate this ego-maniac-nonsense about me being Odin... Hmm... Bah, screw it, lets see..."..

Well, yeah... I think people(including me) are a bit too judgmental of their own works. Not necessarily a bad thing, but definitely something worth mention. Anyways, I gotta go beat Neptune at a game of checkers. Cheerio then, Mortal!

Don't cheer at their defeat, cheer at our victory. Cheering at the weakness, and fall of others leads to your own destruction. This I've seen many times... There is a reason only honest, good-types who don't cheer at the fall of their enemies make it into the myths with me. Well... In most cases... I'll make an exception for Hades, Zeus, Jupiter(Inferior deity), and Athena.

((this isn't directed at anyone in particular. Just a bit of a "Hey guys, don't turn their misfortune into your benefit. It's just not cool". But anyways yeah, doesn't really surprise me at all.))

Lol @ Odin and yet I am afraid.
Woah, that is some creative writing indeed! Welcome to the community Odin.

Indeed mortals! Did you expect anything less? I am the king of Asgard! I don't have any time for... "half-doings", it either gets done, or one of the servants do it. Either way it gets done! Now tell me, do any of you know how to catch and destroy these... "Duck" things? They swim in the water, FOUL EVIL CREATURES! I must destroy these... THESE... 'Ducks'!

((I didn't expect so many comments on my writing. =o Thank y'all. Thank y'all for the welcoming-s-ess too. =D ))

Let's see.. Right this fellow has a good picture of me, it'll do for now!

That's me. Odin. With my trusty wolf at my side, and my messengers at the ready! Not to mention my crown, I don't quite think the mortal who drew that caught the whole... Shine of my crown, the glorious shine and gold, and the diamonds and pearls and the gold! Not that I'm concerned with such small details... It just... would have been nice... At least, the golden bits of it could've been shinier...

Hello mortal,

I am Odin. On behalf of all Asgard, I welcome thee here to Runerebels. Should thee need ale, mead, or salted pork, simply ask! I'm more than happy to give away the ale, the mead would cost you a soul though, but it comes with infinite refills so no need to worry!

I prefer Jupiter, but still nice to have you in the community, I do love gods :D

What? JUPITER?! He's nothing but a drunk Greek sitting on a mountain. Thinking he has some special privilege to not do anything good for the world. I at least have Asgard, AND a rainbow bridge, AND a son that has anger issues along with being the owner of a very powerful hammer. Plus I have a Gungir. Does Jupiter have a Gungir? Nope. I do. He doesn't. I do, he does not. Therefore I'm better!

(((Thank you all... Again for the welcomes. =) )))

Tragic story...

On behalf of all Asgard, I welcome thee here, to Runerebels... Should you need ale, or mead, perhaps salted pork, simply ask and I'll ensure such shall be given with haste!

Giggles? You find the truth amusing?

I'd smite you with these thunder bolts! However I'd have to pay for any scratches on them... Zeus has HORRIBLE borrowing requests, he wants them back in pristine condition or else I'll have to give him my first born son! However he didn't specify which first born... So I mean there is a loophole, but I'd rather not risk having to keep Loki without Thor to keep him in his place.

I'll get back to you on that smiting bit. This needs some good thinking drink...  BRING OUT THE ALE!

(((Thank you all so far, for the welcomes. =) )))

Thank you, kind mortal. Though I must agree, yes, yes I do. It's hard to lack creativity in Asgard. Rainbow bridges, sons throwing hammers which were made in the hearts of dieing stars... Not to mention having to keep order around this place. Quite a hard task! You should come by some time, the ale is good, and the meat is tasty, and the mead is okay.
