Your burn-rates don't improve as you level, I believe.

I wonder if that's true with certain fish, because i saw a noticeable improvement with tunas and lobster as I leveled up.  There was a significant decrease in the number of burns.

I'm level 57 cook and I burn 12 on average per inventory, it's been the same since I was 40. So what your saying sounds about right hmm

This has to be random as hell then.  I can guarantee that my burn rate has gotten significantly better with lobsters as my cooking level increased.  If the "burn rate" doesn't actually exist yet, then I must have level 99 luck  :)

You simply do not burn them eventually.

Lobsters eventually stop burning at 84 cooking if I remember correctly.

78, if I remember correctly.
After a certain level you do stop burning them. I actually went through and added all of those to the database awhile back. The burn formula needs to be tweaked with, and the burn level actually does work(meaning you stop burning at the correct level).

This is good to know, thanks Kevin.

If you're cooking lobsters, just suck it up and get to 74. From there its free sailing.
