We are back with another quick hotpatch! This one was mainly focused on fixing issues with existing Quests, and also making it possible to complete Slayer tasks that require the Bug Lantern. However, we threw in some other fixes as well, such as a major improvement to the Welcome Screen that fixes a long standing bug where the game would appear before it. In my opinion this makes the game feel like it is at a much higher quality level, and I hope that you guys agree!







Engine:
Fixed the issue where the game would briefly appear before the welcome screen.
Fixed a bug where if code handling an OnObjectDeleteEvent deleted another object in the game, the ObjectManager would barf all over the place.

Quests:
Fixed not being able to talk to the cook in Lumbridge for Cook's Assistant.
Re-enabled Witch's Potion.
Added additional dialogue for the closed version of the coffin in The Restless Ghost.

Firemaking:
Added the ability to light and extinguish Bug Lanterns.

RuneRebels:
Added the ability to open and close the coffin for the Restless Ghost.

We have fixed the Entrana monks from banning items that should not have been banned; this should make your journey to the Lost City a little bit easier! ;)

After a long wait, we are very excited to announce the release of Lost City! It has been an extremely long process of adding numerous new features to the Quest Editor in order to support everything required for this quest. However, these additions to the tools have resulted in an increase in the speed at which we can develop new content, as many previously blocked quests are now programmable. We thank you all for your patience and hope you all enjoy the new quest, the new Zanaris area, and all the new dragon weapons!

I hope you guys enjoy this update! The team and I worked extremely hard on it and I couldn't be more proud of them. This marks our forth major release this year, and I hope that this continued to demonstrate our commitment to this project. Added Lost City quest!


The Lost City of Zanaris has finally been found!
Although it was in a state of disrepair, it has been brought back to life.
You can see a detailed description of the items that were fixed below. :)

Added dialogue for all of the residents of Zanaris.
Added all of the shops whose owners reside in the lovely Lost City.



Game Engine:
Added initial built in support for variable bit settings.

Core Engine:
Fixed the Magic Door in Lost City.

Fishing:
Added the Fishing spots on Entrana.

Prayer:
Fixed the Prayer alter on Entrana.

Woodcutting:
Added the Dramen tree for the Lost City quest.

Smithing:
Fixed the furnace in Zanaris.

Npc Spawns:
Fixed a bug where Otherworldly beings would not walk around.

Slayer:
Added the correct behavior and animations for Zygomites.
Added the ability for "finishing off" items to turn into another item.
Added support for multiple valid "finishing off" items on monsters.

Npc Drops:
Fixed the drops for Otherworldly beings.

Karamja:
Added a brand new boat transportation system.
Made almost all of the boats actually work.
Fixed various non-working ladders & gangplanks.
Added the boat traveling interface.
Added support for invoking boat travel with scripts.

Members:
Made the Fairy rings to and from Zanaris work.
Added the correct behavior for the chocolate bar in Zanaris.

Sounds:
Added Genie Lamp sound.
Added punching/kicking sounds.
Added potion sounds.

Quests:
Added a "PlayerHasTool" step for developers.
Added support for conditional Quest Journal text.

Hello everyone! We are very excited to finally release this massive update to RuneRebels. Andromeda is packed full of tons of bug fixes and new features for everyone to enjoy, and is probably our largest update this year. We hope you enjoy it, and we have additional content already in the pipeline!





I do want to apologize about the delay with this update, I was traveling across the country this week and had to handle a lot of unexpected things that came up which caused this to get delayed a bit more than usual. In the future I'll try to post on the forums in advance when a delay is expected. I hope you enjoy the update!

Engine:
Fixed a bug where the ground item manager did not respect the maximum stack amount specified by plugins.
Fixed a bug where players wouldn't face the correct direction when using objects when their Y coordinate was above 9999.
Fixed a bug where dropped items with maximum stack amounts would stack in very odd ways. (The "arrow stacking" bug)
Fixed a NullPointerException that could occur during following.
Fixed a bug that may cause a Blitz Error when adding an item to a full inventory.
Npcs will no longer walk around while in dialogue with a player.
Added the Crystal Key chest in Taverly.

Bank:
Added the Mage Bank.

Core Engine:
Fixed the door located at 3228,3240.
Fixed a bug where you could not walk through webs after slashing them.
Added animations to slashing spider webs.
Modified all of the Guild Doors to use the new door API, so now they actually open!
Fixed a bug where players would be kicked out of Guilds if they enter by boosting a skill.
Skillcapes will now allow a player into a Guild that normally requires another type of clothing.
The Brass Key door now opens and closes properly.
Fixed the stairs located at 2649,3311.
Added death animations for Turoths.
Fixed a Blitz Error that occurred when using the prison door.
Fixed the Kingdom of Kandarin Gate.
Fixed doors and stairs at Rogue's Castle.
Added the correct behavior for Fly Traps.

Cooking:
Added the ability to make the toppings for potatos.
Added the ability to empty burnt food in a bowl.
Fixed effects for Moonlight Mead.
Fixed effects for Slayer's Respite.
Fixed effects for Axeman's Folly.
Fixed effects for Wizard's Mind Bomb.
Fixed effects for Chef's Delight.
Added the ability to eat Choc bombs.
Added the correct interface when making pizzas.

Made ::yell work across worlds.

Dialogue:
Fixed Ali Morrison's dialogue.

Fixed Abbot Langley's dialogue.

Npc Drops:
Fixed the drops for Turoths.
Fixed the drops for Ghouls.

Npc Spawns:
Added missing Npc spawns near Wilderness Anvil.
Added missing Npcs at Rogues Castle.

Crafting:
Fixed the experience given for crafting Tiaras.

Agility:
Fixed Blitz Error on Falador Wall Crawl.
Fixed Slayer Dungeon shortcuts.
Added the Lumbridge Fence shortcut and fixed its behavior on Free to Play worlds.

Farming:
Converted Farming tables to the new format supported by the current tools.
Added the ability to empty plant cure.

Slayer:
Fixed Giant Spiders not contributing to the spider task.

Thieving:
Fixed the loot for Paladins.

Fishing:
Added various locations that were completely missing their fishing spots.
Added sound effects for fishing.

Food and Drink:
Added the ability to eat Toad's Legs.
Fixed a possible Blitz Error when eating Kebabs.
Fixed the run energy restore behavior when drinking Nettle tea.

Prayer:
Added the ability to pray at all Chaos Altars.
Added the ability to pray at the Tribal Statue after completing the Jungle Potion quest.

Skill Menus:
Fixed typos and display bugs with the Cooking, Slayer, Agility, Defence, Mining, Smithing, Magic, and Hitpoints skill guides.

Quests:
Added the Barcrawl miniquest.
Fixed the cost of the Magic carpet.
Fixed a bug where the quest rewards interface would show "Quest Points" (plural) for quests that only reward a single point.
Fixed a bug where leveling up a skill would close the quest reward interface.

RuneRebels:
Fixed Pineapple plants to provide the correct number of pineapples, show the correct message, and not have a delay before picking them.

Wilderness:
Wilderness levels are now fully working and have the correct Teleblock behavior.
Fixed being unable to teleport at level 20 Wilderness.

Using a server that's got the teleport command?  The weapon of choice in that screen shot is an abyssal whip, quite rife in worldscape...

Yeah it's worldscape. Uses the same ip as runerebels just add +1 to the port lol

Ohh that makes a lot more sense! ;D
