I laugh at the mac users.
A mac is simply a $2000 facebook machine.
Is the server supposed to be up 24/7 now? Because it says error connecting to server.Yeah it is, though some major things happened and there fixing so it's probably from that.
i have download it but how do i play it because i go on it and it comes up not as a client. That shouldn't happen, Seeing as all All-Go-Free games works on all OS. Make a topic on Tech Support with more detail for effective help :)

Hey also anyone noticed world1.runerebels.com is offline? but if you type world2.runerebels.com you can login and play. That's the testing world I'm pretty sure. It might be hosted of Ryan's computer or something, That's why it's up.

This might sound weird, but could you give me the port number and ip address so I can play with my own client, till you have added the jar file?
In addition to what Garrett said, If "World1.Runerebels.com" is offline then you can use "World2.Runerebels.com".Thanks, it works. My cache is not complete though, so the client gets stuck at the hint icon flash packet in tutorial island...
Same port.
Idk how to extract it. Lol

any chance itll be working for macs again in the near future?Have you tried the downloadable client?
The downloadable client uses a .bat which is Windows exclusive... so unless he uses the .exe, the .bat wont work for him.any chance itll be working for macs again in the near future?Have you tried the downloadable client?
The windows one uses a .bat, http://www.runerebels.com/download (http://www.runerebels.com/download) recognizes your OS and downloads the right format for you, so there is indeed a mac client if I'm right since I remember playing this at my aunt P:The downloadable client uses a .bat which is Windows exclusive... so unless he uses the .exe, the .bat wont work for him.any chance itll be working for macs again in the near future?Have you tried the downloadable client?
Don't even remember seeing that Mac option. I haven't downloaded the client in months. Haha, well perhaps the .exe will work for him.
I don't understand how a java update would effect the webclient running on a different OS. When one update is released, it is released for all OS... so the recent security implementations for java web applets is universal. I highly doubt its because of a java update... unless he doesn't have the recent update.Don't even remember seeing that Mac option. I haven't downloaded the client in months. Try visiting that page, it automaticly starts a download, if you're on windows it downloads that batch file, and on mac it downloads the mac client.
I think this guy tried playing it with the webclient, since that won't work for macs yet because of the java update =D

Yea its a security implementation and they aren't removing it... remember how the java update screwed over all rsps's?
it won't work on windows and every other OS with that version of Jaba
I never said they're removing it, with "yet" I ment he'd be able to bypass that, like people did on windows.Yea its a security implementation and they aren't removing it... Only way to bypass it is to run on an older update of java or to change your security settings manually.I never said they're removing it, with "yet" I ment he'd be able to bypass that, like people did on windows.Yea its a security implementation and they aren't removing it... Yeah the webclient is now broken on basically all operating systems because of Oracle's update to security which prevents self-signed applications from running. >:(It's possible to still run it, but you'd have to host your cache yourselve, so adding a exception to the settings would allow us to run the webclient, i tried doing this the month it came out but back then you hosted the cache elsewhere, forgot the domain :3
I've been trying to get around this but the only way would be to purchase a certificate from a CA for like $200; and they would probably revoke it once they found out we were using it for a private server client.
As far as the download goes, the downloader automatically detects your operating system and downloads the correct version. :) If you are on OS X 10.9 Mavericks, you have to open System Preferences, open the Security pane, and change the "Allow Applications From" setting to anywhere.
Wtf fatal loading error
