Title: A new Ryan

Because Ryan has no time whatsoever (I don't know him but people tell me he doesn't have any time) i think we should try to get another Ryan, someone who puts everything into the game. This doesn't mean Ryan isn't himself anymore, it's just that he doesn't have any time and we want updates. :)

He stays up at nights, but he's now working on making some thing automated so developers can do more by themselves :)

New quests.. Priest in peril, free to play quests for dragon slayer, fremmy quests.. Lost city, gnome quest with monkey madness. Contents always nice but using a rune scim for level 150+ monsters does get kinda tedious. Agility would be a lovley update with shortcuts such as the wall next to east falador bank would be mint. Even the shortcut for blue dragons. God spells, mage guild minigame for infinity.. I could go on

Slayer is NOT a quest developer.

The Quest Editor tool that we created needs to be updated before we can accomplish the things we want with them. There are quests that have the dialogue in place, but steps cannot be completed because certain steps require certain things like interacting with objects to complete. Those have not been added to the quest editor, but they are in the works.

I can only imagine how time consuming perfectly programming stuff into the game can be. I appreciate all the work that's been done so far and anything in the werks.

There is no point in having quest developers right now, as the tool is very broken.

That being said, unfortunately we go through an in-depth pick and choose when it comes to developers.

We do need more developers that can do more though; that is why I am spending any time that I can making the framework more open for other people to add things in. The database, quest editor, and dialogue editor all help out a lot, but I am also working a public plugin API that would allow anyone, and I mean anyone, to develop Java based plugins for the server and submit them to us. :)

They won't be ready for a while. We're working on other things at the moment.
