Rants / Some thoughts on donations and perks.

I've noticed now that avatars have become a donors perk - leaving me presumably stuck with my x-mas themed one, or possibly none at all. A little heads up would have been nice on this.
What my concern is that the plan for donation perks is to take what we already have, take it away from us and then offer it as a perk instead of creating more new perks like larger avatar and signature resolutions, maybe even some sort of priority staff-support system, the global shout you have planned is a good example of this. I read the plans to also make ::lock commands perks as well, this I'm also against, seeing as this will allow donors to exclusively have the ability to manipulate game mechanics via xp/content unlocking quests to make their pures.
Please possibly try and reassess some of the planned perks - taking away features we already have, because players coming in won't know any better, may cost you the enthusiasm of more veteran and established players.

They give +3 magic as opposed to range, and crafting a pair of them will use up all the hides you're carrying.

Price Checks / A price check and discussion of Bunny Ears and future Rare's

Firstly - the one person I know who's managed to purchase a pair recently bought theirs for 1 Million gp, yet every time I've pursued a seller, even people who have multiples are asking for 5 million gp.
Is their a rough estimate of how many there are in circulation? I can understand investing in rares, whether to sell them later on and bankroll expensive skills or to just hold a monopoly on the server, but I'm a bit surprised that people with 3, 4, 20 pairs of these have asking prices that are higher than the top-tier combat equipment in-game at the moment.
So discuss, debate, speculate.
Do you think for example people will relax their hoarding of this particular item once/if new rares are released? Should the next holiday item be untradable? What does Christmas mean to you?

Nice to meet you all 
hopefully I might see a familiar face around (I played as Janloom back in Jan-Feb on PRS06 as well, and I think enough of us ended up migrating here)
I've just started playing on this server yesterday, and have run into a handful of you in-game already. Props to the admins/Mods/coders, as the server seems really solid.
I'm taking some advantage of the relative solitude in-game - for now my main goals for this server are a decent range level and maybe a pair of those Bunny Ears I've seen around (are they tradeable in RR?)
