*New screenshot 16/1/13 here.
**An updated version of rrMarket will include player trading.
Screenshot of the new possible design available here.

A screenshot of the website can be seen here.

Features:
Price guide
The rrMarket displays you prices of items that are
being sold by other people.

Player trade
The rrMarket allows players to put up an item on the
market to allow other players see and allow them to
buy off you.

Ajax
Ajax is a technique I used which allows players to view
items without refreshing the page.

Q&A:
What is rrMarket?
rrMarket is a unofficial rune rebels website where players
can view prices of an item at a quick search, they can
also find out if a player is selling that item.

How can players benefit from rrMarket?
Players can benefit off the rrMarket by putting up a sale
of an item on the website and that way any player who
views the information of the item will find you selling it.

Is the price guide complete?
Currently, I'm setting up the prices for all items ingame.

When I visit it?
After development and after the owners approve of it.

I believe that your design will not function efficiently, how are the item prices going to be modified? On what basis will you change them? Rarity? Usefulness? How do you know how much exists? I think this would all be easier if Ryan gave you some form of access to the server logs, ie an API created specifically for this purpose? Also if this launchs try to keep it updated, a lot of players will probably resort to using this (myself also), the economy, as aforementioned will be in your hands.

Good luck on your project, my personal input is that the website design looks rather plain.

The idea is great, but the design is to simple in my opinion.

"Voltimolt is buying 5 for 150 gp."
It looks like 'market price' is the same as on the GE; it's the default suggested value, but you can sell or buy for whatever you want.
I don't see why the trade section of the forums won't work, but if you really want to do this I guess it'd attract more attention.
Either way, this'll help once ::yell isn't available to players anymore.

The design is simple and plain to load information by ajax, so it does not refresh the page. I can change prices in the admin panel, I will change prices according to demand, I will know how much exist based on the selling-to-demand ratio and that will determine an appropriate price, I do not nor will i ever gain access to Ryan's database therefore its out of the question.

On launch, the runerebel founders or myself can appoint qualified "moderators" for the market to update the price guide accordingly.

The idea is great, but the design is to simple in my opinion.
I agree, but I needed a quick design to test out my scripts.

I'm working on implementing a feature which only allows you to set a price in range of the market price (say, give or take 5%)

as for the forum trade section, the rrMarket will allow people to quickly see all players trading on a item in 1 page, unlike going through each thread.

Are you sarcastic?

@op you can't seriously expect to keep up with the supply and demand for all of the items, even with the help of moderators...

Well I doubt he's going to update them all manually :l

I believe it's going to take the paid amount for completed sales and average them out. This would work by running a "cron job" on a php file that functions to gather all the sales and average a cost for each item. Or whenever a trade is completed, the average is updated.

I like the concept, but the UI looks basic and, in my opinion, is not very attractive. Change the font from the default font to something else. Keep the size of the title bar consistent instead of like this:

Try to make it look something like this:

There's more I could say, but I'm busy right now.
All in all, I like the basic concept of the site, but it could use some visual work.
