Suggestions, Compliments, And Questions / Forum rep?

Hi All,
Was reading a post by Dev Seth and I just thought, well, that's a post I'd love to +1! So would it be possible to add this feature so that users can show appreciation & positivity (ONLY (IE: No -1's)) for eachother's ideas, comments and suggestions?
Although, it might also breed a post-spamming clustertruck... Which would not be good or positive....
I believe SMF has a "karma" system, which is basically the same thing? Just the down-vote would need to be disabled if possible?
Edit: Much like the Give Respect feature on the WS forum, but on a per post/thread basis?

I played WS for around 2-4 years and then seemingly disappeared. Came back for 7-8 months and disappeared again. Never mind. Some people might remember me, some won't even know who I am 
. Anyway. I'm back now! As I got an email about RR 2.0. A community I had forgot that I had joined 
How could I forget?!
