If you were to go blind, not born blind but later in your life. Would you want to remember how it was to see or would you want to forget it?
-
Would not want to lose the thought of being able to see. To be able to relive those images in my mind would be a good enough consolation prize for having lost my sight.
-
I would focus on enhancing other skills that I have and not focusing on what is unchangeable. I know this older gentleman who went blind in a car accident. He spent his whole career fixing and fine tuning luxury cars, and even owns a garage. He adapted to his blindness and can successfully diagnose and fix your car issues no problem.
Moral of the story: Don't dwell on the past.

Cool story bro.. but that wasn't what i asked XD

It most certainly is answering what you asked, and it's also saying both the options you gave in your question are stupid therefore I'll have to provide my own.

Considering I can lose my vision at any moment with no warning. Tbh i'd rather not remember because it would make me miss it even more.
-
I would want to remember how it was to see, but not let it put me into a state of depression or anything.

I stare forward in to the sun once and a while. I know when to look away. Moral, don't look at atomics through a porthole without eye protection.
