If you have a good graphics card it can be very very profitable. It's a job itself actually if you have a mining rig. It literally can sustain you and that's what keeps Ryan's food on the table :)

Those are quite good. You put some ketchup on it and it tastes good as well.

Mining bitcoins is pointless these days unless you already have the hardware and you have insanely cheap electricity.

...or you can mine things such as mincoin which is the easiest to mine and highly profitable. Even mining Dogecoin can be very profitable :)

I recently bought a 10gh/s mining rig for bitcoin. I just got her running. I've made $0.25 so far!

ok seriously, why aren't you just mining dogecoin or mincoin -.- if anything your losing money at the moment. Bitcoin is only meant to be mined with jesus rigs that mine at like 300 gh/s

You'll have to spend like $2,000 for a decent rig and it'll take like a year to get that back or longer. Yeah just go work at McDonald's.  :P

he can make decent cash if he mines dogecoin or mincoin atm, garunteed he makes back how much he paid for the graphics card he has now in one month with the GH/s he's mining at. That is actually a very good rig he has now but only for the lower currencies.

I have an ASIC miner so it can only mine for bitcoin. dogecoin, litecoin, mincoin, etc. all use different algorithms then bitcoin

I've been mining dogecoin and it can be decently profitable so long as you find a good pool. I just have my GPU doing the mining while I play RR or Doom because both use software rendering which is completely CPU bound.

Here is an image of my GTX 770 at work! AMD cards tend to do better but compare what mine is doing to other GTX770/GTX680 cards and see the difference.  8)
