i kep geting a error mesig  that gives me this.

cant im on a publick library computer  not alowd to updait or download stuff

I'm pretty sure you're running an older version of java, the only solution would be to update your Java or try and download the downloadable client but I don't think that's going to happen from what you've said above. Hope you figure things out.
